31God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior, in order to grant repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.
This one God exalted at his right hand as Pioneer and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
The Greek *archegos* is rendered **Pioneer**, the Pioneer Translation's standing name for this title, preserving its sense of one who goes first and opens the way. Critically, the grammar here shows God (*ho theos*) as the subject who does the exalting — Jesus is the one *exalted by* God, maintaining the clear distinction between the Father who acts and the Son who is acted upon. The phrase *tē dexia autou* ("at his right hand") indicates position of honour granted by God, not co-equal status.
